About Training Run

Our Mission

To provide the most transparent, fact-checked, and accessible measurement of AI capabilities—so the public, investors, policymakers, and developers can make informed decisions based on data, not hype.

Why We Exist

AI is evolving faster than most people can track. Every week brings new model releases, benchmark claims, and capability announcements. Separating signal from noise has become a full-time job.

Training Run exists to solve this problem. We aggregate benchmark data from the most respected evaluation platforms, apply a transparent scoring methodology, and deliver a clear, weekly snapshot of where AI models actually stand.

We're not affiliated with any AI company. We don't have a horse in this race. We just want to give you the clearest picture possible.

Our Principles

The Show

Training Run is also a weekly video series that breaks down the latest in AI benchmarks. Think of it as your weekly conditioning—keeping you up to speed on what these models can actually do, delivered in a format that's actually watchable.

New episodes drop weekly, covering the latest rankings, notable movements, and what they mean for the AI landscape.

OPX Manager by trade—Coach leadership teams in problem-solving, daily management, and measuring progress with data. Always iterating towards improvement.

I'm also a dad to six kids. In 2026 I started Training Run because I wanted to better understand AI—not primarily for myself, but so I can guide and advise my family as they grow up in a world that's already being reshaped by AI. That personal mission drives every single thing here.

No VC backing. No corporate agenda. Just one guy who got tired of the hype, vendor-sponsored leaderboards, and cherry-picked numbers—and decided to build the transparent, daily AI snapshot I wished existed for my own family.

I bring the same disciplined, data-first mindset I use at work to this project. Full methodology, every source cited, limitations called out, no spin. Because if we're going to help the next generation navigate AI, we need clarity first.
